Solorization

With this picture I had the enlarger run for 8 seconds and then put it in the developer for about 10 seconds or until i could faintly see my picture, after that i took it out of the developer and put in back under the enlarger for one second. Someone might use this process in order to make either an abstract picture or to outline/capture an important part of the picture.

Assignment 4

I got a high contrast out of my pictures because of the placement of my objects/subjects. I also included a light that brightened certain places on the person, and on the walls. I like how both of my pictures turned out but I really like how the person of the person blacked out the one side of her face and left only a portion of her face lit, which caused a really good high contrast.
