Assignment 3

I took this picture for my depth of field picture, i focused closely on the horses head. I really like this picture because it is taken from a different angle.

I took this picture to capture a wider field of picture. I like how shows more of a southern style and how relaxed it makes everything happening look.

Assignment 2

I took this picture for the still life project. I picked these items to show that once a football fan you will always be a fan.
I picked these items because i love to garden and i thought it would create a cool still life. I like the angle because it shows the clippers sneaking out behind the flowers.

Assignment 1

I took a picture of a park bench in the breezeway, to show different values from dark black to light greys. The values were created by the shadows of the leaves on the bench and of the wall in the background.

I took a picture of the senior steps in our breeze way to show lines. The lines are created by the steps and the walls.

Trouble Shooting.

1.       I have found that the printing of the picture gets a lot easier the more you do. You know more of what you are looking for and the steps are just really repetitive.

2.       I still find rolling a bit challenging. My first roll was perfect but I messed up in a couple places on my second film strip.

3.       Most of my pictures turn out good, because I do pay close attention to the light meter.

4.       My pictures are mostly crisp and yes I do pay attention to my aperture and shutter speed.

The most exciting part of photography so far has been the outcome of my pictures. Developing the film and rolling it was difficult because you have no idea what your pictures are going to turn out to be or if you are just wasting time to find you have ruined pictures. I think the whole process is really cool and something i can enjoy doing.
